Scandinavia no homework

Though there are some exceptions such as education system in Japan, South Korea, and some other Asian countries. In fact, according to OECD, the more time students spend on homework, the worse they perform in school.

Having more time to play outside, ride skateboards or bikes, hang out with friends, read, or take part in some craft, skill, or hobby are all benefits LEADPrep students enjoy with flipped learning and not having hours of homework to complete every night. The country of Finland apparently agrees.

It is worth to mention that the world has caught onto this idea and, according to the latest OECD report, the average number of hours spent by students doing their homework decreased in nearly all countries around the world. So what Finland knows about homework that the rest of the world does not?

But are they good students? Even without doing homework 93% of Finnish students graduate from high school, compared to 75% in the US.
